What are the things you treasure?

Me? One of the things I treasure is my friends. I love my friends. When there was a very serious dispute happened between me and my friend, it really hurts in my part and I really prayed for our friendship will restore. And praise God, friendship restored after 3 days.

I know that we have so many things we treasure, and here’s what Jesus said about that:

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

– Matthew 6:21

What you treasure the most will dictate you your desires. If you treasure money, your life will just revolve around money. If that’s relationship, you know what will happen. Sometimes, what we treasure will lead us to astray. So, better be careful on the things that you treasure.

If you will put God inside your treasure chest, I tell you, you will be satisfied. Why? Because if you put God in your heart, He will give you everything you need according to His riches.

Just like what I’ve said a while ago, one of the things I treasure is my friends. My friends are not ordinary friends, but godly friends. But one thing that I really treasure the most: It’s God who made the heaven and earth.

But what are the treasures inside God’s heart? It is all of us that He treasure the most. Because of that love, He gave his Son Jesus to be crucified and to die just for us not to separate eternally from God. That’s how God treasure us.
