Will God Still Trust Me?

How many times you have sinned? How many times you failed your parents’ expectations? How many times you think that you are worthless? How many times you disowned God in the midst of your circumstances? I guess there are many times. Me too, there’s so many times that I did all these things; even though I’m already a Christian, I still disown God in some of my circumstances. And here’s the question that pops-out in our mind and in our heart during those moments: WILL GOD STILL TRUST ME?

Just look back at the life of Peter, he denied Jesus three times even though he promised that he will not do it. After Christ was resurrected, He still trusted Peter no matter what Peter did (John 21:15-18). And I’d like to share this Scripture to all of you:

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be calledthe Son of God. For nothing is impossible with God.”

– Luke 1:35, 37

Will God still trust us? The answer is YES. Why? Because He never see all our infirmities in life, but what He sees right now in you is the face of Jesus. Even when the devil continues to remind you of how dark your past is, or how many times you’ve backslide, it doesn’t matter anymore. Your past will never answer that question. Instead, God already answered that 2000 years ago at the cross where Jesus died for all of us. And His answer: “Follow me!” (John 21:19)

In spite all of your infirmities, God will still trust us.
