Now GO!

Who wants to be used by God? I guess a lot of us want to be used by God. Next question: What if God will put you in a place that will shake your comfort zone? Will you still go?

This scenario will come when it comes on sharing the Gospel to others. Yes, we want to be used by God. But when God has called us to preach the Gospel, excuses, excuses, and excuses. This always occur when God calls us to preach the Gospel on a person that will totally shake our comfort zone.

Let us look on the life of a disciple named Ananias, who God called to preach the Gospel to Saul (This is the time when Saul already met Jesus on the road to Damascus):

In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”

“Yes, Lord,” he answered.

The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

– Acts 9:10-12

Look what Ananias said:

“Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

– Acts 9:13-14

But God said:

But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.

– Acts 9:15

How can we be used by God? Simple: GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE and trust God. Stop trusting on what you can do, instead, trust God for He will give you what to do; and by the power of the Holy Spirit, even you will be awestruck to the power in God vested in you.

When it comes on doing the will of God, it’s not all about you anymore, it’s all about God now.

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

– 2 Corinthians 10:4
