What Faith Can Do?

Some of you knows the title of this entry is also a title of a song. Well, you’re right. And this entry will revolve on that song.

For those who don’t know the song, you can listen here:

Yes, the title speaks it all. But we need to go deeper on what faith can really do.

First question: Who or what do you hold on? Is it yourself? Your family? Your friends? Or something that you are depending on? Yes, it can help us, for a while. And what those things can do? It can make a positively, yet shallow results. What if a great trial came? Will those things or people you holding on will help you? If you fall, will they still help you to rise?

There are so many trials that we are going to face. Here’s another question: If those things that you are holding on vanished, where you will hold on? Here’s the Good News, there is One who are already there in your side, but yet, you didn’t recognize Him. His hands are always ready to help you to rise when you fall. He prepared a new clothes for you.

If you will reach His hands, He will not just help you, but He will never leave you nor forsake you. Even if you fall, faithfully reach His hands. Hold on to The One who already reaching you out, believe that He will help you all the days of your life, have faith in God, and by that faith, the word “impossible” will be destroyed. Have faith in God, believe on what Jesus Christ did on the cross, all the mountains in your life will fall on their knees; even though God wants you to climb that mountain, God will never leave you, and as you reach the summit, a great provisions will be upon you. And that’s not all, whatever mistakes you have in the past, have faith in Him, and He will restore you.

Keep on praying faithfully, keep on holding on to God, and you will be a witness of His indescribable power.

What faith can do? This entry is not enough to list all the things it can do.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

– Hebrews 4:16
