TRUE Biblical Foundation
We have so much battles here in this world. Ranging from personal battles to worldly battles. All of us have battles in our life. Since we have accepted Christ, we were now enlisted to a war. Yes folks, WE ARE IN A WAR! What war? It is a spiritual war because the enemy will not be chillin’ around while watching us fulfilling God’s promises in our life, he will do something for us not to achieve it.
Just look inside our nation, we have a lot of national issues (RH bill, divorce bills) that somehow will compromise our faith. And recently, trolls from the middle of nowhere spread about the “rapture” that supposedly will happen on May 21. At the end, we are still here, living and doing our daily basis.
And what all these stuffs all about? How can we survive these battles?
The answer: HAVING THE TRUE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION
Yes folks, we must have the true biblical foundation. What do I mean? Simple, always go back to the Word. In all issues that we have in this world, God has always the answer regarding it. And when these issues or battles came, we are already equip by God’s Word because God’s Word is our strong tower; when we are inside of it, no matter attack from the enemy, we will never stumble.
Let me put a balance here as well, for you to really understand what God is telling you through His Word, go to your trusted sources that will explain to you what the scripture is telling to you. For example, go to your Victory group leader, discipleship leader, Victory group member, or to your pastors. Why I said that? Because a lot of people are twisting the real context of the Word of God. Just take note, even the devil is using the scripture, but twisting its true context just to fit in his own good (Luke 4:9-11).
If we do not have the true biblical foundation, here’s the example of what will happen to us:
If we do not have the true biblical foundation, we will easily be stumbled. The importance of having the true biblical foundation? For us to have the right weapons and defenses when the battle came (Spiritual battle, battle on sin, stuffs that will compromise our faith, etc.) and for us not to be stumbled.
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
– Matthew 7:24-27
