When I Don't Understand
This month of May, Victory has its new series entitled “When God Doesn’t Make Sense”.
And this week, it tackles about: “When I don’t Understand”.
Have you ever felt that everything in your sight are all messed-up? And do you feel that God had forsaken you? Well, you also think to question to God why these things are happening to you.
There are some things that we don not understand. And we do not understand why God is giving us so much trials. And some of the people are in the brink of backsliding.
Well, it’s time to wake you up. Christianity is full of stuffs like this. Yes, its true. As what James written:
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
– James 1:2-3
Yes people, you will going to face so many trials. And yes, you can question God. Why? Because you have a relationship to Him and we are confident that God will work in our life. Just look on the lives of Job, Jeremiah, and Habakkuk, they questioned God. And instead of condemning them, God worked mightily on them.
Why do we have these kind of trials that sometimes we cannot bear? It is because God has something that we do not expect. Maybe God is working something in our life and when He is done, our life will never be the same again.
I tell this to you now: In your life’s darkest hour, you can question God BUT DON’T QUIT! For those people who were saved lately and hardships come, IT’S TOO EARLY TO QUIT. And for those people who were saved few years ago or several years ago and hardships come, IT’S TOO LATE TO QUIT. What can we do when trials come and we do not understand why God given these to us? HAVE FAITH ON HIM.
“Look at the nations and watch—and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.”
– Habakkuk 1:5
