Mom Knows Best
Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him. “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.” “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?”
– Matthew 20:20-22
Some of people were like me, I’m not an expressive person. Most especially, I am not that expressive to the person I love.
But I realize, after God, the next person that loved me the most is my Mom. And when I review my past actions, sometimes I’ve taken for granted all the things that my Mom did to me. Before, I think that my Mom never understands me. That’s what I’m thinking when she’s not permitting me to go outside. As time goes by, I finally saw the things that my Mom did before for my safety.
One thing that reminded me about my Mom’s love towards us was through the Scripture above. It is a clear picture that my Mom knows what’s really the best for us. And because of that Scripture, God reminded me that my Mom really loves me and she understands me no matter what.
Yes, I have so many things to thank for to write in this article, but for the sake of the length of this article, I just shared what had stricken me the most.
FOR ALL THE MOMS IN THE WORLD, MOST ESPECIALLY TO MY MOM, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
I LOVE YOU MOM!
