"So, please God. PIMP MY LIFE"

Have you ever watched the TV show “Pimp My Ride”? For those who heard that show for the first time, here’s how the show goes:

First, there is a guy/girl that has their “whacked” car. From outside to inside, sometimes even the engine, the car is a total mess. In two instances, they found a live RAT inside the dashboard and a group of mice in an ice cream truck. Sometimes, its host, the rapper Xzibit were calling those cars a “bucket”. Then, Xzibit checks the car, and after that, he will bring the car to the garage. And when the car is at the garage, all the magic will begin. They will change the car from inside to outside; sometimes they will install some stuffs that you will never imagine that will fit in the car like a hot tub, a fireplace, etc. And when the “pimped” car will return to the owner, they will also receive a bonus gift. But, in a rare instances, when they see the car unfit for “pimping” they will replace it with a brand-new “pimped” car.

But when we compare it in our life, it’s the same. At first, our life is a “bucket” – all messed-up. When we feel that we’resick and tired of our life, we call on God to change us. And when He’s in our doorstep, that’s the start of the “pimping” process of our life. He will remove all the old stuffs in our life and replace it with a brand new parts. And that’s not all, He will place also new stuffs in our life. And sometimes, when our life is a “total wreck”, that’s not a problem. God will replace it with a new life with all new stuffs in it. And as a bonus gift, we will receive eternal life.

And what’s that pimping process called? That’s called SALVATION. As we gave our “messed-up” life to God and receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, our life will be “pimped”. And as we receive a new, “pimped” life, it will never be the same again.

So, you want your life be “pimped”? Surrender your life to God and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

– Ezekiel 36:26
